Jim Cullen

Jim Cullen

Jim joined Ford Motor Company in its Finance Department in 1994 after receiving an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He held several staff finance positions in Manufacturing and Product Development, spent time with the Treasury department, and was the Controller of the Super Duty platform and Controller for North American Investment.

In 2005, Jim joined Versa-Fab, Inc., a business specializing in mechanical engineering, machining, fabrication, and finishing. He started a complementary business in 2008, American Manufacturing & Integration, focusing on designing and building control panels primarily for the power transmission and distribution sector. Since joining Versa-Fab, revenue has grown by more than 400%, and EBITDA growth has averaged more than 10% per year.

Carl Heller, Jr.

Organizational Development Leader

Carl Heller, Jr.

Carl joined IBM in 2000, after receiving an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. During his time at IBM, Carl held a series of eight positions, with increasing responsibility, in Finance, Operations and Project Management. In 2006, Carl was asked to join Cleaveland/Price, an OEM in the electrical transmission and distribution switchgear industry.  His role was to evaluate current processes and build an organizational structure for the future.

Carl’s leadership responsibilities have included all facets of C/P’s operations. Most positions were held concurrently or redeveloped by Carl: Planning Manager, Operations Manager, Accounting Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Treasurer, Vice President, and, as of January 2020, President. From 2006 to 2021, lead times have been reduced by 60%, revenue increased 294%, and headcount increased 138%.

Ryan Luchs

CFO

Ryan Luchs

Ryan is Rye's Infrastructure's CFO. He sources opportunities, negotiates deal terms, raises capital, and performs due diligence for the group. In addition to his role at Rye, Ryan is a professor at Duquesne University, teaching courses in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Before his work at Rye and Duquesne, Ryan was a process engineer and quality assurance manager at Allegheny Color Corporation. Ryan holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and an MBA and PhD in Business from the University of Pittsburgh.
